The Fundamentals Workshop is NBTA’s starter course focusing on the basics of business travel management. This two-day workshop is designed to describe the primary components of managed travel and how a well-designed program becomes a strategic corporate asset. Attendees will learn key strategies used to optimize travel spend and deliver ROI. An expert facilitator will also provide an in-depth overview of various technology options that improve productivity and data management.
Key topics include:
Policy creation and implementation
Metrics and reporting
Traveler safety and security
Special emphasis will also be given to the travel manager’s role in risk mitigation and meetings consolidation.
Attendees who complete this two-day workshop will be eligible to take NBTA’s CTE exam. The exam is offered onsite or online for an additional charge of $100. Course participants who successfully complete the exam receive the designation of CTE – Corporate Travel Expert.
