Shuttle Bus Service
Official host hotels of the NBTA International Convention & Exposition are the Westin Bonaventure (headquarters), the Figueroa Hotel, Hilton Checkers, Holiday Inn City Center, Marriott Downtown, Millennium Biltmore, Omni Los Angeles, Sheraton Downtown, The Standard, Wilshire Grand, Radisson USC, Renaissance Hollywood, and Holiday Inn Hollywood. Shuttle bus service will be provided to the Convention Center from all hotels except the Figueroa Hotel and the Holiday Inn City Center which are within walking distance. Shuttle service will be provided from all hotels to the opening and closing receptions.

Convention Attire
Convention attire will be business casual. Business suits and ties are not required. Participants should wear sport coats, collared shirts, casual slacks or skirts and refrain from wearing items such as denim jeans and t-shirts. In selecting your attire, please keep in mind the professional nature of the Convention. Casual clothes are appropriate for leisure time and are acceptable in most restaurants.

Weather
Los Angeles enjoys a mild Mediterranean climate — moderate temperatures with low humidity year-round. Midday readings average 80 degrees from June to October. Summer’s warmth is often tempered by pleasant sea breezes, especially near the ocean. Evenings are cool, even in summer. |
Baggage and Coat Check
Complimentary baggage and coat check will be provided at the Convention Center on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. On Wednesday, baggage check-in will be available for domestic flights from LAX on Air Tran, Alaska, American, Continental, Delta, Northwest, and United Airlines for a $10 service fee. NOTE: Due to new airline policies, there will be a charge for a 2nd checked bag. Fees and exemptions due to frequent flyer status vary by airline but will be made available to baggage check-in personnel. The on-site payment system will allow attendees to pay overweight and excess luggage fees with a credit card only. The $10 service fee can be paid in cash or by credit card. There will be a scale onsite.

FLO Card For Registered Traveler
NBTA in conjunction with FLO Registered Traveler is offering a free* one-year registered traveler membership to NBTA Direct members attending the Convention. All other Convention attendees receive a one-year membership at the discounted price of $79. Visit the FLO Kiosk near NBTA Registration. Offer is open at all U.S. citizens and permanent foreign residents. Your passport and drivers license are required to complete the enrollment process.
*Enrollee is responsible for payment of TSA security threat assessment fee of $30 at time of enrollment. Total value of FLO membership is $70. |
