Sales pitches for products or services disguised as proposals will not be accepted. The following list of content areas are of current interest to business travel professionals:

Target Audience
Convention attendees include corporate travel managers, consultants and industry suppliers from the airline, hotel, car, card, agency, and travel technology communities.
Selection Criteria: Your presentation proposal will be judged on:
1. Content
- Are the ideas presented new and forward thinking?
- Are the concepts introduced useful and practical?
2. Format
- Are there opportunities for interaction among and between participants?
- Is the scope appropriate to time limitations?
- Is the instructional design creative?
3. Presenter(s)
- Is there a demonstrated knowledge of the subject matter?
- Is there an indication of strong and creative presentation skills?
The Fine Print
- Convention breakout sessions generally 75 minutes in duration; some sessions may be offered in 60 minute time slots instead, depending on number of speakers involved/scope of content.
- Audience size: 50 - 500
- Sessions will be scheduled throughout the three days of Convention (Monday-Wednesday). Please do not submit a proposal unless you will be able to appear on any day.
- Sales pitches for products or services disguised as proposals will not be accepted. Presenters may not distribute/display commercial and/or marketing materials about specific products or companies.
- NBTA will correspond with the PROPOSAL AUTHOR or PRIMARY SPEAKER only (as appropriate) regarding the status of your proposal. For optimal consideration, submit your proposal(s) by January 1, 2009. Acceptance notices will be issued on or around March 1, 2009.
- Do not list individuals as co-presenters unless you have a definite commitment that they will appear with you on the program. NOTE: Panel discussions are most effective when limited to no more than 3 participants.
- All travel expenses and any additional fees are the responsibility of the presenter(s) unless agreed to and arranged in advance with NBTA.
